A condenser professional microphone which uses interchangeable capsules to provide a choice of cardioid, hypercardioid or omnidirectional polar patterns.
Low noise and transformerless preamplifier circuit deliver high performance in both close-miking and distance-miking situations. The wide flat frequency response ensures that all sounds are captured with a high degree of accuracy. Being very compact and providing the high quality sound transmission, the MK-012 is designed for sound recording studios and reinforcement at cinema, TV and radio and at thea-tre during theatre and entertainment events.
The microphone is suitable for recording of folk orchestras and ensembles of strings national in-struments (domra, balalaika, gusly), for brass and percussion instruments (cymbals, small drum), grand piano. When used for close-miking vocals a pop shield is highly recommended. The capsules of hyper-cardioid pattern are used to separate the signals of close-distance instruments.
The MK-012 is complicated with 3 caps, the MK-012-01 - with one cap ( any of 3 variants of pat-tern at the request of the customer, if there is no any special wishes, then - with cardioid capsule). The microphone is complicated with the "-10dB" pad and a joint.
Textured nickel or matt-black finish. Factory-matched stereo pairs are available.
It is recommended to use the shock mount AM-20 with the MK-012.
Requirements to acoustic parameters of stereo pairs:
- Their sensitivity at the frequency of 1000 Hz may vary no more than 2dB
- The difference between sensitivity at the frequency range must be no more than 3dB
