MK-219

The hugely popular, tested by time, cardioid microphone featuring a large diaphragm capsule and discreet preamplifier circuitry.
Magnetic reed switching is provided for both the 10dB pad (the selector of the sensitivity level) and low pass filter switches ensuring long term reliability.
The capsule employs an extremely thin, gold plated diaphragm and is built to a classic design, enabling the microphone to outperform models many times its price, not only on subjective sound quality but, in many cases, also on sensitivity.
When used for vocals, the large diaphragm capsule adds warmth while still sounding completely natural. It is strongly recommended that the microphone be used in conjunction with a pop shield when close miking vocals.
The Oktava MK-219's high sensitivity means that it can be used on acoustic guitars, pianos, and for ensemble recording.
Textured matt-black finish. Factory-matched stereo pairs are available.
It is recommended to use the shock mount AM-50, AM-60/27 "Spider"
Requirements to acoustic parameters of stereo pairs:
- Their sensitivity at the frequency of 1000 Hz may vary no more than 2dB
- The difference between sensitivity at the frequency range must be no more than 3dB
