ML-52-02 employs a dual ribbon capsule to provide high sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio. Its design provides the shielding of the ribbons, protecting them from the external actions of electromagnetic fields.
Due to the compactness of the original magnetic system with the magnets of high coercive force and the common acoustic elements the microphone ML-52-02 featuring the constant polar pattern and constant frequency response.

The microphone is designed for vocal and speech recording (especially for bass and baritone), ethnic percussion instruments, brass and woodwinds instruments of low-frequency range, double-bass.
